We’ll have our Eid’ ElFitr Picnic on Saturday Sep 26 at Bethesda Park. This will be a potluck picnic so please bring your own food.
As a reminder, there will be no iftar in last Saturday of Ramadan.

Dear Community Members
Atlanta Harari Community congratulates community members on arrival of blessed month of Ramadan. May Allah accept our fasting, good deeds, and shower us with his blessings and make this Ramadan joyous month for all of us. Ameen. As it has been the habit, we’ll have our Iftar gathering on Saturdays (Iftar dinner and Taraweeh).
Pleae make extra effort to come one hour before Iftar time. First gathering will be on Aug 22. Iftar Food Note We look forward for your participation.
Although this will be a potluck Iftar, please make an effort to coordinate your food contribution. Please contact either of Erit/Bakala so we minimize perishable food waste. Please mention what food dishes or assistance you are willing to contribute. No coordination needed for non-perishable food items. (Erit:678-468-2609, Bakala:404-723-3413). Please make an effort to call early (especially for 1st iftar – i.e. Aug 22 Iftar).

Meeting
July 7, 2009
Assalamualaikum dear Atlanta Harari Community leaders and members:
Alhamdulilah for everything Allah subhanahu wattalla has bestowed upon us. His will has happened and we are all safe and vibrant after the magnificent and joyous 14th, Harari Sport & Cultural Federation event. I am sure many of us have met friends and family
members and will keep lots of good memories.The highest of remarks go to our volunteers that proved that nothing is out of reach when we work hand in hand. This event would not have come to fruition without you. As of now we are preparing for our upcoming meeting/gathering to brief community on HSCF14 as well as future steps for our community.
Meeting will be held at Berkmar High at 3-5pm on Sunday 7/19. Please be there on time.

Hi All –
I really wanted to send out this email and thank all the Atlanta men, women and youth group who contributed towards HSCF 14th Festival. We enjoyed it, we loved it, and we really had a great time. Your choice of venues (the school, the park, and the hotel) was excellent, the food was great and above all the people of Atlanta were very welcoming. Atlanta , you have set the bar very high for next year J and you really out did yourselves and thank you all for putting together this amazing festival!
We look forward to next year’s festival in Toronto Inshallah and hope it will be as amazing as this one!
